Swedish artist Ingela P. Arrhenius was born in 1967. Art and design have always played a major role in her life. Before her career as an illustrator took off, Ingela worked as an art director in Stockholm. She then studied advertising and graphic design at an art school there.
In 1992, Ingela set up her own business as a freelance illustrator and works internationally in advertising, design, and publishing. She creates patterns for fabrics, wallpapers, and designs packaging, accessories, objects, and toys.
Her posters and toys are popular worldwide. She is passionate about the "retro" style in general, which is clearly reflected in her work. She lives in Stockholm with her husband and two sons.
